Dear Editor
India is Ahead in COVID-19 Vaccination
As of 16.07.2021, the total COVID-19 cases in India has crossed the total number of 31,063,987 with the single day spike of 38,112 cases along with the death rate of 1.33%.

As far as COVID-19 vaccination is concerned, 395,343,767 doses against Covid-19 have so far been administered in india , with 3,878,078 people receiving the jabs in the previous 24 hours.
World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the Covid-19 pandemic is now in the “early stages” of the third wave. The Delta variant is now in more than 111 countries and it is expected that it can soon become the dominant Covid-19 strain circulating worldwide.
Although the second wave is behind us, the risk of a third wave has increased. With the presence of the Delta variant and the subsequent mutations of the virus, we consider a third wave a real risk in India.
