COVID-19 in Trichy
New cases in Trichy district are declining in the 48th week of the current COVID-19 Pandemic.
The average single day COVID-19 cases in our district in this week is around less than 25 cases per day is a good sign of control of COVID-19 spread in the post Diwali days.
As of on 27.11.2020, Trichy District has the total number of 13, 353 confirmed COVID-19
cases with 172 deaths .
The death rate is around 1.29%.
Among total COVID-19 related deaths in Tamilnadu, trichy has recorded about 1.47% deaths .
Out of the total number of cases in Tamilnadu about 17.17% cases are from Trichy district.
In the current week 75 % of COVID-19 beds are vacant in our district and only we are having 139 active COVID-19 cases at present.
The positivity rate is approximately 1.88% in the district.
Hats off to our district people cooperation, district health department, district Collector, revenue personnel, police personnel , city Corporation commissioner and all other staffs and officials who has helped to prevent the COVID-19 spread in the district particularly in post Diwali days without any surge of COVID-19 cases

Mask and COVID-19
A mask is dehumanizing and uncomfortable—it may create a sense of increased work when breathing during heavy exertion—but a mask is not hazardous.Wearing a three layer disposable mask is not harmful.
Masks are a key measure to suppress COVID-19 transmission and save lives. Masks reduce potential exposure risk of COVID-19 from an infected person whether they have symptoms or not. People wearing masks are protected from getting infected from COVID-19 during this Pandemic.
Masks also prevent onward transmission when worn by a person who is infected with COVID-19.
To prevent COVID-19 spread
masks should be used as part of a comprehensive ‘Do it all!’ approach including: physical distancing, avoiding crowded, closed and close-contact settings, improving ventilation, cleaning hands, covering sneezes and coughs, and more.

The Global and Indian COVID-19 status as of now on 24.11.2020
The global total COVID-19 cases has crossed 59.5 million mark (59,525,364)
and it has registered a global single day spike of over 5.2 lakh ( 525,763) cases with the single day deaths of number of 7,953cases on 23.10.20
The global seriously ill COVID-19 patients comes down to 0.6% (103,653) and the mildly infected COVID-19 patients were 99.4% (16,865,636) as of on 24.11.2020.
Among global 42,679,908 COVID-19 cases which had an outcome 97% (41,275,217) have recovered from illness and the global deaths has comes down to 3% (1,404,691) as of on 24.11.20
USA has registered a single spike of over 1.7 lakh number of 172,300 COVID-19 cases and the total cases has crossed 12.7 million mark (12,777,371) with over 2.6 lakh (263,687) deaths ( single day deaths 972) on 23.11.20
Cases in India are declining and it is in the second place after USA in the list of global single day spike of COVID-19 cases with the number of over 47k (37,410) with the single day death of 481 cases and the totol has crossed 9.1 million mark
on 23.11.2020 during this Pandemic. The recovered cases were over 8.6 million mark (8,603,575) in India on 23.11.2020
As of on 24.11. 20 in 218 countries (Samoa is the 218th country added on 19.11
20 )and territories in all continents and in 2 International conveyances over 59.6 Million mark (59,649,197) with India over 9.1 Million mark (9,177,722) and 771,619
in the State of Tamilnadu , and in Trichy 13,240 cases were reported with COVID-19 infection .Recovered cases were over 41.2 Million mark (41,275,217) and over 1.4 million (1,404,691) deaths in world which include 134,254 in India and 11,622 in Tamilnadu and 172 at Trichy has been recorded as of 24.11.2020.

Epicenter of COVID-19 has Revisited the US again
Joe Biden has won the US election 2020 with 306 electoral votes and he got 50.8 percent of popular vote with the number of over 78
million (78,005,344) popular votes.
US election is a biggest and the most important election has taken place in the current COVID-19 Pandemic. Handling of the COVID-19 situation is one of the important issue which has titled the election victory away from Trump, who has got 47.4% popular votes with the 232 electoral votes in the US Presidential election 2020
At present COVID-19 is affecting 217 countries ( Vanuatu is the 217th country)and territories around the world and 2 international conveyances.
The global total confirmed COVID-19 cases has crossed over 53 million mark (53,738,180) with 1,309,147 deaths and 37,519,510 recovered cases as of on 13.11.2020. On 13.11.2020 the single day spike of COVID-19 cases were highest with the number of 656,180 during this Pandemic.
In the 46th week of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the epicenter of COVID-19 has revisited the US and the single day new cases are increasing in number and it is in ever highest number of 183,527 on 13.11.2020 .
The total confirmed COVID-19 cases in US has crossed 11 million mark (11,064,364) with 249,975 deaths on 13.11.2020 with 1395 single day deaths
The current administration should not neglect the COVID-19 situation in the US. Even a few weeks of neglect may end up in danger.

நமது மூளை - டாக்டர் அலீம் திருச்சி
நமது உடல் உறுப்புகளில் மிகவும் மர்மமானது மூளை. நமது மூளையின் முழுமையான ஆற்றலை ஆய்வு செய்தால், நாம் நமது மூளையை முழுமையாக பயன்படுத்துகிறோமா என்ற சந்தேகம்தான் வரும்.
உடல் உறுப்புகளில் இதயத்திற்கு அடுத்தபடியாக முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த மூளை, நமது நினைவுகளை சேமிக்கிறது. ஆளுமைக்கும், அறிவாற்றலுக்கும் மையமாக திகழ்கிறது.
1. நமது மூளை 60 சதவீதம் கொழுப்பால் ஆனது. வேறு எந்த உறுப்பும் இந்த அளவுக்கு கொழுப்பால் ஆனது இல்லை.
2. நமது மூளை வலியை உணராது. ஏனெனில் வலியை உணரும் வலி வாங்கிகள் மூளையில் இல்லை. எனவேதான் நமது மூளை மண்டையோட்டுக்குள் நகரும்போதும், உந்தும்போதும் நமக்கு அந்த வலி தெரிவதில்லை.
3. மண்டையோட்டை கழற்றிவிட்டு மூளையில் அறுவை சிகிச்சை செய்யும்போது நாம் விழிப்பில்தான் இருப்போம், வலி வாங்கிகள் இல்லாததால் நமக்கு வலி தெரியாது. மருத்துவர்கள் ஏன் நம்மை விழிப்பில் வைத்து அறுவை சிகிச்சை செய்கிறார்கள் என்றால், அப்போதுதான் மூளையின் அறிவாற்றல் செயல்பாடுகளை கண்காணிக்க முடியும்.
4. நமது மூளை 25 வாட்ஸ் அளவுக்கு மின்சாரம் உற்பத்தி செய்கிறது. அதாவது மின்சார பல்பை எரிய வைக்கும் அளவுக்கு இந்த மின்சாரம் இருக்கும். சரியாக புரிந்துகொள்ளாதவர்களை ட்யூப் லைட் என்றும், புத்திகூர்மை உள்ளவர்களை குண்டு பல்பு என்றும் சொல்வது. இதற்காகத்தானோ…
5. பொருட்களை நாம் சரியாக காண்பதற்கு மூளைதான் உதவுகிறது. பொதுவாக நமது கண்கள் பொருட்களை தலைகீழாகத்தான் பதிவு செய்யும். அந்த தலைகீழ் காட்சியை நேராக்கி இயல்பாக்குவது மூளைதான்.
6. மூளையின் அளவு பெரிதாக இருந்தால் அறிவாற்றலும் அதிகமாக இருக்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கை பலரிடம் இருக்கிறது. ஆனால் அது உண்மையில்லை. மூளையின் அளவுக்கும் புத்திக்கூர்மைக்கும் தொடர்பு இருப்பதாக இதுவரை நிரூபிக்கப்படவில்லை.
7. நமது மூளையில் உள்ள மெல்லிய நரம்பு இழைகள் 1 லட்சத்து 61 ஆயிரம் கிலோமீட்டர் நீளம் நீண்டு பிண்ணிப் பிணைந்திருக்கின்றன. இந்த நரம்புகள்தான் நமது உடலின் அத்தனை பாகங்களுக்கும் தகவல்களை அனுப்புகின்றன.
8. டீன் ஏஜ் பருவத்திலோ, இருபது வயதுகளிலோ நமது உடலின் சில உறுப்புகள் வளர்ச்சியை நிறுத்திவிடுகின்றன. ஆனால், மூளை அப்படியல்ல. நாம் நமது 40 வயதுகளில் இருக்கும் சமயத்திலும், நமது மூளை தன்னை மேம்படுத்திக் கொண்டே இருக்கிறது. புதியவற்றைக் கற்கும்போதும் அவற்றை நமது மூளை ஏற்று பதிவு செய்கிறது.
9. நமது உடல் தளர்ந்து சோர்வாக உணரும்போது அதற்கு காரணம் மூளைதான் காரண். மூளை அப்படிச் சோர்வாக உணரும்போதுதான் நமது உடலும் சோர்வாக உணர்கிறது.
10. நாம் தொடர்ச்சியாக சிந்தித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். ஒரு நாளைக்கு 70 ஆயிரம் விஷயங்களை நாம் சிந்திக்கிறோம் என்கிறார்கள்.
11. நீங்கள் எப்போதேனும் அதிவேகமாக சிந்திப்பதாக உணர்ந்திருக்கிறீர்களா? ஒரே சமயத்தில் இரண்டு விஷயங்களை சிந்தித்திருக்கிறீர்களா? நமது மூளை மணிக்கு 418 கிலோமீட்டர் வேகத்தில் தகவல்களை பரிமாறுவதாக விஞ்ஞானிகள் கூறுகிறார்கள்.
12. நமது மூளையின் அளவு வளர்வதே இல்லை. பிறக்கும்போது எந்த அளவில் இருந்ததோ அதே அளவில்தான் கடைசிவரை இருக்கும். பிறந்த குழந்தையின் தலை அதன் உடலைக் காட்டிலும் பெரிதாக இருப்பதை கவனித்தால் இது புரியும்.
13. மூளை எப்போதும் வேலை செய்வதை நிறுத்துவதே இல்லை. நாம் விழித்திருக்கும்போதைக் காட்டிலும் தூங்கும்போது அதிவேகமாக சிந்திக்கும்.
14. நமது மூளை, நமது எடையில் 2 சதவீதத்தை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு, நமது ஆற்றலில் 25 சதவீதத்தை உபயோகித்துக் கொள்கிறது.
15. நமது மூளை தனித்தன்மை வாய்ந்தது. அது நம்மிடம் தந்திர விளையாட்டுகளை விளையாடுகிறது.
16. நாம் உயிர்வாழ நமது மூளையின் ஒரு பகுதி போதுமானது. மூளை அற்புதமானது. மூளையின் ஒரு பகுதி சேதமடைந்தாலும், சேதமடையாத பக்கத்து மூளை, சேதமடைந்த பக்கத்தின் செயல்பாடுகளை தனக்குள் இணைத்துக் கொள்ளும்.
17. மூளை தனது செயல்பாடுகளுக்காக வினாடிக்கு 1 லட்சம் ரசாயன விளைவுகளை சந்திக்கிறது. பொருள்களை சிந்திப்பது, பொருள்களை நினைவுபடுத்துவது, கம்ப்யூட்டரில் டைப் செய்வது என்று மூளை பல வேலைகளை ஒரேசமயத்தில் செய்கிறது.
18. நீங்கள் நம்புவீர்களோ மாட்டீர்களோ… 2 வயதில் தவழும்போது மூளையின் அணுக்கள் வளர்ச்சியை நிறுத்துகின்றன. அதன்பிறகு அணுக்கள் வளர்வதே இல்லை. அதன்பிறகு ஒன்று அணுக்களின் எண்ணிக்கை குறையும் அல்லது நிலையாக இருக்கும்.
19. கர்ப்ப காலத்தில் பெண்களின் மூளையின் அளவு சற்று சரியும். இது உண்மை. குழந்தையை பிரசவித்த ஆறு மாதங்கள் கழித்தே அந்த பெண்ணின் மூளை பழைய அளவுக்கு மாறும்.
20. ஒருவருடைய வாழ்நாளில் அவருடைய மூளை ஆயிரம் லட்சம் கோடி தகவல்களை சேமித்து வைக்கிறது. இந்த தகவல்களின் எடை ஒரு டன் இருக்கும்.
