COVID-19 Vaccination Achievement by India
The total cases of COVID-19 in India was 30,453,937 with the lowest death rate of 1.31% along with the recovery rate of 97.01%, as of 2.7 21 with the weekly positivity rate of 2.57%.
India began the administration of COVID-19 vaccines on 16 January 2021. As of 1 July 2021, India has administered over 340 million doses overall, including first and second doses of the currently-approved vaccines.
As of 2nd July 2021, India has administered over 340 million (340,076,332) COVID-19 vaccines.
As of 02.07.2021 in India about 10,221,584 first doses and 7,285,478 second doses with the total of 17,507,062 COVID-19 vaccination doses were given to health care workers.
Of the frontline workers, about 17,557,147 were given first doses and 9,585,612 were given second doses with a total of 27,142.759 million doses.
In the age group of 18 to 44 years of age about 96,189,940 first doses and 2,373,507 second doses with the total of 98,563,447 were vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccines.
In the age group of 45 and above 89,780,450 were given first doses and 17,482,706 were given second dose with a total of 107,263,156 COVID-19 vaccines shots.
Among the people in the age group of 60 and above about 68,568,202 first doses and 25,055,532 second doses with a total of 93,623,734 were given COVID-19 vaccines.
With this, total first doses were given to 282,317,323 and the second doses were given to 61,782,835 with a grand total of 344,100,158 million doses. As of 02.07.2021, India is the first country which has done the maximum number of COVID-19 vaccinations.
