Dear Editor

The Present Global Trend of COVID-19 Pandemic

As of today (29.5.2020) the COVID-19 infection is confirmed in 213 countries in the all continents except Antarctica.

In the 22nd week of thIS COVID-19 Pandemic, a new International independent grant-making entity in the name WHO Foundation has been launched ( Which is welcomed by WHO ) on 27.5.2020 and that will support the World Health Organization’s efforts to address the most pressing global health
challenges like COVID-19 .

In this week USA has passed the mark of 15,000,000 Tests for COVID-19 on 27.5.20 by far the most test in the World . More and more number COVID-19 tests has helped USA to find out more number of COVID-19 positive cases.

In this week
a good news is that
the global death rate has come down to 12% and the recovery rate increases to 88% today (29.5.20)

As of today 29.5.20 India Is in the ninth place in global list of COVID-19 infected cases with very low death rate , which is higher than China.

Now the world is waiting for the second wave of COVID-19 in the countries where the first round of COVID-19 is over.

So the end or extension of lockdown restrictions and relaxation should be on scientific basis on the COVID-19 situation and it should not be based on the economy trends of the countries.
