Take Care in Chill weather
In winter weather conditions bring not just chill, but can also impact our health in many ways. Early morning walk, two wheelers raid, travel in a car bus or lorry with open windows may affect your facial nerve and results in facial paralysis or Bell's palsy.
In winter exposure to cold chill air, reactivate the herpes virus present in the nerve sheath of the facial nerve which passes through inner ear. This may leads weakness of the one side facial muscles with difficulty in closure of the eye and to deviate the corner of the mouth on affected side. There may also loss of taste with excessive sound perceptionon affected sir . This condition is common during winter months more in young aged people .
So please wear cap, ear muff shawl ,scarf or towel with covering of the ears to prevent facial paralysis during walking raiding and travelling in winter chill weather . And also avoid sleeping out of home in open places or veranda or in farm in the cold weather to prevent this type of facial paralysis.
