COVID-19: India continues saving lives and livelihoods
At present there are about 0.9% of the world population is infected with COVID-19 in the 50th week of the current COVID-19 Pandemic.
As of on 11.12.2020 there are more than
70.8 million (70,848,102) confirmed COVID-19 cases with over 1.5 million (1,591,266) deaths in the 218 countries (Samoa is the 218th country added on 19.11
20 )and territories in all continents and in 2 International conveyances in the world.
The global total COVID-19 cases has crossed 70.8 million mark
and it has registered a global ever highest single day spike of over 6.7 lakh ( 676,806) cases with the single day highest number of deaths of 12,625 cases on 10.12.20.
Among the currently COVID-19 infected people , mildly infected people has been raised to 99.5% and the critically affected people has come down to 0.5% on 9.12.20 during this Pandemic .
USA has registered a higher single day spike of over 2 lakh (217,779) COVID-19 cases and the total cases has crossed 16 million mark (16,039,393) with over 2.9 lakh (299,692) deaths ( single day deaths of 2974) on 10.12.20
Cases and death rate in India including in the state of Tamilnadu and in my own district of Trichy are declining .
India is in the second place after USA in the list of global single day spike of COVID-19 cases with the number of over 34k (34,666) with the single day death of 487 cases and the totol has crossed 9.7 million mark (9,796,992)
on 10.12.2020 during this Pandemic.
In India the recovered cases were over 9.2 million mark (9,290,188) in India on 10.12.2020
India continues saving lives and livelihoods – recording more COVID-19 recoveries while lifting restrictions.
A decrease in new weekly COVID-19 cases is reported in India in the 50th week of the Pandemic.
