Hygienic Behavioural Changes Of The People Are The Need Of Hour To Beat The COVID-19 Pandemic
COVID- 2019 accelerated pandemic outbreak has spread as of today to 199 world countries and territories in all continents.
As of today there are about 5.5 lakhs (5 552 943) confirmed cases. On 27.3.2020 the US leads the table in the number (85 762) of coronavirus infected people. In Europe, Italy leads the table with highest number (over 80589) of infected cases. Today (27.3.2020) it is reported that the first world leader from the European continent (UK prime minister Boris Johnson) has tested positive for COVID-19 after experiencing mild symptoms. In this week Prince Charles has also tested positive for coronavirus infection.
In Asia, China tops the table with 81 340 infected cases and 3,292 deaths.
As of today (27.3.2020) globally the recovered cases are 84% and the death rate is 16%.
In India a comprehensive economic package of 1.7 lakh crore ($22.6 billion dollars) has been announced on 26.3.2020 to tackle the immediate needs of the impact ofhe deadly coronavirus outbreak in India.
At present about 88% of the positive coronavirus cases are in the G20 countries. G20 countries on 26.7.2020 have decided to inject over $5 trillion dollars into the global economy as part of targeted fiscal policy, economic measures, and guarantee schemes to counteract the social, economic and financial impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, which is also welcomed by WHO and ILO.
So a globally coordinated action along with people's hygienic behavioural changes and a policy of staying at home are the need of the hour to beat the coronavirus spreading.
