Kisses and fasting.
A mere kiss does not invalidate fasting if this does not lead to discharging Maniyy (sperm) or Mathi (preseminal fluid) because it is confirmed that ‘Aa’ishah said: “The Prophet used to kiss me while he was fasting and while I was fasting as well.” [Al-Bukhaari, Muslim and Abu Daawood] However, if it leads to the discharge of Mathi, then the fasting is invalidated, similarly, if Mathi is discharged, the fasting becomes void .
Hence, if the wife knows or predominantly thinks that when her husband kisses her or hugs her, this leads to the invalidation of her fast by discharging Maniyy or Mathi, then she should prevent him from doing so, and the husband is sinful for his act because he invalidates her obligatory fast the same way he invalidates it by having sexual intercourse with her.
Indeed, the scholars stated that “it is not permissible for her to answer her husband [when he calls her to bed] if she had already started making up the fasting with his permission, because when she starts the fast, the fasting becomes obligatory. Rather, it is an obligation which the husband had permitted, so he has no sound reason to invalidate it, and the husband is forbidden from calling his wife to bed while she is fasting an obligatory fast with his permission.”
Kissing an alien woman in Ramadan
It is forbidden to kiss a non-Mahram woman (alien), as that is one of the reasons that could lead to fornication and adultery.
If that happens during Ramadan, then the sin is greater. At times of superiority and excellence, the sin is more serious than at other (ordinary) times.
Whoever has committed a sin has to repent Allah before it is too late for him.
True repentance implies staying away from circumstances of committing that sin, and performing many good deeds, especially optional prayers.
It is reported in Saheeh Bukhari and Muslim that Ibn Masoud narrated that "A man kissed a woman. He came to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) and told him what had happened. Then the following verse was revealed: {And perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night [i.e. the five compulsory Salât (prayers)]. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice).}. The man said: ‘Has this verse been revealed in relation to me only, Oh! Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) of Allah? The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) replied: “For whoever acts upon it from my Ummah.”
As regards the ruling regarding Ramadan, if the kissing took place during the day in Ramadan, the fasting is correct unless there is an ejaculation of sperm, in which case the fasting becomes invalid, and one has to make it up.
In case the kissing took place other than during the time of fasting, then it does not affect the validity of fasting in any case.
We draw your attention to the fact that what we have mentioned in relation to the ruling about the validity of the fasting not its reward. In fact, reward of fasting was surely affected. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "Allah does not need the fast of one who does not abandon false speech or acting according to his false speech.” [Reported by Imam Bukhari]
Physical contact while fasting
It is forbidden for the fasting man to have sex or take part in foreplay during the daytime with his wife in Ramadhaan. The Prophet Muhammad said: “One gives up one's food, one's drink and one's desire for Allaah's sake (when fasting).” [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] It is, however, permissible for him to kiss his wife if he can control himself and does not come to a point where he then has intercourse or ejaculates – in which case it is forbidden for him to do so. The evidence for this is the Hadeeth of the Prophet , where ‘Aa’ishah reported that, “Allaah's Messenger , would kiss (his wives) while fasting and embrace (them) while fasting, but he had the greatest mastery over his desire.” [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] Imaam An-Nawawi said: “There is no disagreement that kissing does not nullify the fasting, unless one ejaculates.”
Wet dreams and masturbating while fasting
Having wet dreams during the daylight of Ramadan does not affect the validity of fasting, as the person cannot prevent it as it is out of his control. It is known that Allah does not burden people for that which is beyond their power. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {Allâh burdens not a person beyond his scope. …} [2: 286].
What is harmful during Ramadan is deliberate ejaculation through masturbation, sexual intercourse, etc.
So, ejaculating deliberately in Ramadan nullifies the Sawm (fasting). Narrated Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "Every (good) deed of the son of Adam would be multiplied, a good deed receiving a tenfold to seven hundred fold reward. Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, has said: With the exception of fasting, for it is done for Me and I will give a reward for it, for one abandons his passion and food for My sake" [Reported by Imams al-Bukhari and Muslim ].
The masturbating person did not abandon his passion desire for the sake of Allah. This is the opinion of the majority of scholars.
As a result, you should make up the days in which you masturbated. If you do not know their number, fast until you are satisfied that you have fasted at least all the days due.
As for expiation, you are not asked to give any expiation as there is no evidence supporting that and comparing sexual intercourse to masturbation is a big mistake as they are very different because having sex is greater and more dangerous. So, masturbation cannot take the rule of sexual intercourse. Now you should repent to Allah, multiply good deeds and stay away from anything that could seduce you.
