Primary prevention of diabetes.

India is slowly becoming the capital for type 2 diabetes. The reasons may be the environmental factors ,marriage between close relatives ,paddy wheat vegetables cultivation with use of heavy pesticides , intake of carbohydrates rich diet, and excessive use of steroids directly or indirectly as native remedies for various diseases along with the possible genetic predisposition.

In India people even presented with features of itching non heal ulcers in the feet and with features of neuropathy and as stress related diabetes in pre diabetic state.

So life style modifications ,less usage of pesticides for food grains and vegetables cultivations along with the screeing of possible genetic markers to suspect development of diabetes are very much useful as primary prevention measures to prevent the incidence of diabetes.
