Tamil poet and lyricist Vaali , is from Srirangam Trichy . He has written over 15000 songs in a career spanning over 6 decades. He was also acted in many flims. He has also written many books including Kalaingnar Kaviyam and his autobiography Naanum Indha Nootrandum. He is one of the Iconic multifaceted personality from Trichy.So for no Memorial for him to remember his services to Tamil. It better to a Memorial (Manimandappam) for the renowned civilian awardee poet Vaali at Srirangam at the bank of Cauvery or Kollidam river .
