Seems to be a satellite town, many  development are taking place at panjapur which includes, integrated bus terminal, Trichy trade center with convention centre , Olympic Academy,  Trucks terminal, tidal park and so on with completing ring road .This may attract 1000s of vehicles movement with so many public movements . So, this Zone should be provided with a 24x7 health care centre with ambulance facilities in the new integrated bus terminal   area .The new bus terminal   is provided with rain water drainage system with green tree plantation, so to prevent the blockage of drainage and to safeguard the plantation from plastic pollution , it is better to keep this zone   as a plastic free   and garbage free green zone.

Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Tuberculosis Sanatorium at Sengipatti was opened on 09.12.1951 by The Honourable Sri P.S.Kumaraswami Raja Chief Minister of Government of Madaras with 8 wards many special wards Xray unit and all other infrastructures in 49 acres wet and 3 acres dry lands in Siddamalli Melpathi Village. Mnnarrgudy Taluk Endowed for this Sanatorium by Mathusri Nagasubbammal of Mathurai in memory of her daughter Late Mrs Nagammal on 22nd February 1949. Nearly 75 years old Sanatorium only running OP with ruining inpatient and other infrastructures with out any further development after 1971 . It can be planned to developed as National institute of Medical excellence for infectious diseases with a medical college with full medical Curriculum in Tamil.
