Re: Pure imagination
Dear Editor
Christmas 2021 with less severe COVID-19 even with newer VoC Omicron
Now the world is in its second Christmas of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Thank God for the lower number of new COVID-19 cases with lower death rate even with newer variant of concern Omicron now.
As of today, we have more COVID-19 vaccines, including Covovax, which is produced by the Serum Institute of India under licence from Novavax and is part of the COVAX issued for Emergency Use Listing (EUL) by WHO, as well as the 9th vaccine to prevent COVID-19.
In 2021, most countries have greater achievements in the COVID-19 vaccination program, including in India.
Compared to last Christmas, we are now much safer with vaccines against COVID-19 and we are getting away from the grips of COVID-19 Pandemic.
Wishing everyone a safe Happy Christmas 2021.
