In this COVID-19 Pandemic

during voting for the election 2021 in Tamilnadu, every voter should adopt the following to prevent COVID-19 spread .

Every person shall wear face mask consistently and correctly during their voting related activities.

Please don't skip thermal screening and the use Sanitizer if it is available at the entry of hall/room/premises used for voting purposes.

In polling booth everyone should avoid crowding and should keep Social distancing as per the extant Covid-19 guidelines of the state government and Ministry of Home Affairs.

All voters should use gloves to sign voter register and press EVM button to cast their vote .

Try to avoid crowded ride to polling stations

Avoid taking children with you to vote . This can increase their risk of getting sick in crowded places during polling.

Voters who are sick or in quarantine should take steps to protect poll workers and other voters.

They should also let poll workers know that you are sick or in quarantine when you arrive at the polling location. Check with local authorities for any additional help and guidance.

These are steps you have to take to help you vote and minimize your and others risk during this polling day in this COVID-19 pandemic.
